This is Clive.
Clive doesn’t see himself as disabled or differently abled.
Clive doesn’t want a missing arm to define him. He hasn’t lost his ability to reason or articulate his thoughts because of a missing arm. Clive is more than his missing arm.
Clive struggles with depression and thinks this is a bigger problem for him. In fact he thinks mental health generally is just brushed under the carpet in modern western society because unlike his missing arm you can’t see Clive’s mental scars.
Incidentally Clive supports the charity Mind (www.mind.org.uk) and would encourage you to do the same.
